What is RBS Training
As of July 1st, 2022, California requires TBS training for anyone involved with serving alcohol to customers. Servers are responsible for patrons consuming alcoholic beverages in public establishments, acting as gatekeepers who know when the limits have been reached. This isn’t an arbitrary requirement decided by each establishment, but has been set forth by California-mandated Responsible Beverage Service training.
RBS training is only offered through ABC-approved trainers such as our hospitality-focused Aim to Serve program, which means we can help you get started right away if you feel ready to start studying.

Our RBS training program ensures that servers and managers are prepared when serving alcohol, making the community safer. This training is now required by the state for establishments such as hotels, stadiums, restaurants, and casual dining.
What Are The Costs of an RBS Training Program?

Fantastic and Safe Service
Ensuring servers hold a good understanding of alcohol’s effects on the body and when to stop service for patrons leads to a safer environment for staff and patrons. Our RBS program is here to equip businesses, servers, and retailers who serve alcohol with the knowledge needed to help make California’s communities safer.
AIM To Serve focuses on bringing innovation into training activities through our platform.
We work closely with California state authorities to comply with rules and regulations. Our courses are regularly evaluated for accuracy and compliance with state laws. This helps reduce the risk of alcohol related violations in the industry.
